Join our dynamic team as an Office Administrator, where your organisational skills and attention to detail will play a crucial role in our daily operations. Stand out in a fast-paced, varied environment where your support is vital to our team's success.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join and contribute to our growing exciting company. The ideal candidate must be solutions driven with strong-problem solving skills and have a good eye for details . You should have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, possess the ability to multitask , prioritise tasks., have a good eye for details and have a good knowledge of HR and IT.
The role is based at our Head Office in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester SK16 4AJ
General overview of responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all administrative functions of the office, including answering phones, responding to emails, storing and printing documents as needed and greeting visitors.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are always in good working order and fully stocked
- Support the MD and the OD with any specific tasks requested.
- HR duties including staff holiday, sickness, interviews, the recruitment of new staff, new starter packs and more.
- Prepare payroll information for monthly payment runs
- Develop and maintain filing systems, both paper and electronic, ensuring that all documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Meeting minutes recording and note taking.
- Provide general administrative support to all homes if required including data entry, report preparation, and other tasks as assigned by the MD or the OD.
The Person:
- Previous office experience or experience in a similar role is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and exemplary prioritisation skills.
- It is crucial in this role that you possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills and be familiar with working with databases.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A good re-call/memory of ongoing jobs
- Have an eye for detail and be able to multitask and prioritise tasks on your own accord.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar role
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software
- Knowledge of office management procedures and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional demeanour and appearance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- It is crucial in this role that you possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
